As a practising artist whose work involves sculpture, raku ceramics, drawing and painting, I have a thorough – but ever-growing - understanding of the creative process, and I believe it is the right of all people of every age to be able to experience art and design with its associated activities, to enable them to realise their own creative potential.

My work at LEA advisory and examination levels has enabled me to develop a sound understanding of the principles of the National Curriculum for Art and Design, and particularly in matching educational aims with assessable objectives and outcomes.
